Don't let that downside stop you, it's my fav game in a long time. Played it right after Control and like it slightly better (though it's admittedly a bit less inventive)

Yeah, Jedi Fallen Order was similarly pretty inexcusably slow on death reloads. At least they omitted boss cutscenes the second time through.

Yeah, Control's load times were the worst I've encountered since duke nukem forever

it's definitely hard to imagine working at a company that seems to back a specific candidate in such an obvious way but hey to each their own

nothing other than "def pry_inspect; ''; end"

Any idea why pry outputs nothing when "inspecting" an instance of this particular class? (other models display just fine)

back in the 90s newgrounds had a "forum" or guestbook or something and I think instead of a "username" field there was a "dojig" field. wtf is a dojig?

i.e. just upload a YAML specifying that a bunch of related sources should exist, and it'll detect what's already there and update, or it'll create/delete etc., ideally with the option of previewing the changes before performing them

Is there a name for a Terraform/CloudFormation style approach for stamping out / CRUD-ing / syncing database resources for your app?

Is it ever good to be "proud" about anything in a deterministic universe?

Really love that they automatically highlight unexplored territory that's now accessible by some recent power-up. Maybe that's n00b mode for a lot of people, but absent that I would have also been happy with being able to somehow mark spots / take notes on the map

(Aside from the respawn) I love all the "loading screens". Pretty sure when you're shimmying through a tiny tunnel between large areas, that's a loading screen. Same w traveling between planets and seeing your ship leave the planet and go into hyperspace. P cool

OK, Control was pretty good but Jedi Fallen Order is one of the best games I've played in a long time
