FOURTH and possibly the BIGGEST change is that you can no longer highlight lots of content by scrolling down and then using ^A ^C to get months of data for analysis.
Twitter seems to want to rate limit access to the data only to Itself and humans-in-subservient-consumer-mode.

This AM Twitter tried "badness".
Work arounds:
1) Narrow the browser window so the right sidebar disappears.
2) Click the top right "twinkly star" button to go into "not a viral cesspool" mode.
...Not perfect, but maybe usable this way. Anyone else have tricks yet?

After exploring for a bit; second order thoughts:
"Oh shit... this UI change will probably amp up Twitter's virality levels among non-power-users and make the 2020 US Presidential elections more craycray than otherwise."

THIRD order thought (from trying to directly post the second post in a possibly-long-ish-if-I-feel-like-it meditative thread and running into UI changes):
"First class treatment of tweet thread composition! Wat?!"

That general attitude is why I've backed off to checking twitter only once in a while. Someday the scene will be elsewhere.
