⚖️This is messy. Stick with this thread a minute, while we unpack. Okay so Max Stier is the dweeb who supposedly was witness to Kavanaugh at a party but he didn’t want to go on record. Has history with Clintons, testified to Congress over and over but..

Check out his wife! Her name is Florence Y. Pan, they met at Yale she’s a judge nominated by Obama to DC superior court, also worked in appellate division (possibly with Kavanaugh?) and she was nominated again!

Now could have re-nominated her but he didn’t, he nominated Dabney Friedrich, who also went to Yale and worked for the great Senator Orin Hatch (giant Kavanaugh defender)

Guess who else Pan’s replacement defended AND DATED. Justice Kavanaugh! That’s right, Stiers wife got booted for Kavanaugh’s loyal friend and ex-girlfriend.

Side note about Friedrich, she’s now overseeing the Concord shitshow with hero Dubelier, she’s been tough but do think she’s fair we shall see.

There’s more unpacking to do obviously, Pan and Kavanaugh have undoubtedly crossed paths and Stier worked on the team against Kavanaugh in Ken Starr investigation. Like I said, it’s messy.

Anyway you get the point. Norton hand picked Pan.. obviously we dodged a bullet and she turned her rage to Kavanaugh.

Confrimed, Pan tried a case in front of Kavanaugh, Garland and Ginsburg and lost. Not a giant lightbulb moment but proof they were in the same circles.

Let’s just chalk this up to a really bad day for Max Stier and not anything darker but Cokie Roberts was a board member at his foundation, Partnership for Public Service, and she just died. Huge h/t

Okay maybe not. Partnership for a public service (guess I’m not part of the public) just blocked me.
