They said the quakes would be minor and you wouldn’t feel them - just like they did in Holland which ended in disaster and mostly doesn’t even involve fracking

This earthquake is way higher than the 0.5 level at which fracking has to cease for 18h monitoring. The company has caused almost 50 earthquakes since fracking began in October. Operations were scaled back last month to conduct fracking with smaller water volumes.

This earthquake caused by Caudrilla’s fracking is the biggest yet and of the same magnitude as the one in 2011 which led to a moratorium on fracking

Residents reported feeling the tremor. Caudrilla, the Regulator and govt have all repeatedly said the tremors caused by fracking would be too small to be felt. This is now shown to be a untrue.

Cuadrilla fracking in Lancs causées a 1.5-magnitude earthquake occurred at about 11.20am today shortly after the shale gas company resumed fracking after a month-long break.
