Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a trailblazer, an American hero and champion of equality and women's rights. We are forever indebted to her. May her memory be a blessing.

“May her memory be a revolution.” As soon as Trump announces his SCOTUS nominee I’m hitting the streets and fighting like hell against them. Who is with me?

Since my Republican colleagues have also been adamant that a vacant Supreme Court seat should not be filled in a presidential election year, I look forward to the American people making their voices heard before a replacement is selected.

From day one, Justice Ginsburg recognized our constitutional right to control our bodies and our destinies. That is a legacy that cannot and must not depart with her. Thank you RBG.

I will always be in awe of Justice Ginsburg’s service and her entire legacy in service of equality for women, communities of color, and those whose voices too often go unheard. Thank you, RBG. May you rest in peace.

Black women lawyers across the country are breaking down barriers, but none have been able to break the marble ceiling & ascend to the highest court in the land. That should end in 2021.

We will work with our partners however we can to immediately stop this practice, not just in detention centers, but also in the prison system and globally, where these atrocities continue.

The history of forced sterilization in the United States is long, dark, disturbing, and dehumanizing. Preventing women, particularly Black women and women of color, from having full autonomy over their bodies and reproductive futures is white supremacy in action.

I am horrified by reports that immigrant women trapped in ICE detention centers are being subjected to forced and coerced hysterectomies. Immigrants are human beings with autonomy and rights, not bodies to be experimented on, and one’s documentation status should not change that.

This debate laid bare the choice Mainers face between Susan Collins and a true health care champion like . We at know Sara will serve her state and her country and move the ball forward towards bolder, more inclusive care.

Collins didn't just vote for Kavanaugh. She's voted for more than 165 Trump judges to lifetime positions who could limit reproductive health care and rights.

To the families grieving those we lost on September 11, to the first responders who raced toward the danger to save countless lives, and to the survivors who are still suffering to this day: Our hearts are with you. May we never forget.
