I think he's lost track of his own bullshit. The idiot mentions the Gita Sahgal thing (2010) yet he praising Amnesty for some time way after that event. Just check his twitter feed.

The very same Amnesty that adopted him as a prisoner of conscience whilst he was rotting in an Egyptian jail and helped secure his realise and return to London.

Oh no. This sort of stress will likely cause more hair loss for him.

It's well good. He's clearly learning from Peterson's dreadful writing by starting sentences with "Although".

"I don’t really have strong views on Peterson". That "deeply thoughtful, well-educated and intelligent individual who is often worth listening to whether you agree with him or not" Peterson.

He inserts the odd reference to classical music or art in his writing to gloss over what are essentially regurgitated bits of UKIP arguments. "Ah yes, how cultured he is. He's really thought this through" remark NA fanbois as they lap it up.

So the only so-called "leftists" that he talks to are those sympathetic to his ideas, such as Harris. But Harris' praise of DM may have a bit of an own goal on his part as it was one of the things that made his fans actually question him.

Most of his early critics can't be arsed with debating him any more (Owen Jones refuses to share a platform) mainly because they got sick of his dishonest bullshit. There is also the issue of his nasty little habit of threatening to sue his critics.

"Populism is a meaningless term for things you don't like" Doug has said. An odd position considering he described the student tuition fees protests as populism which must be resisted way back in 2010.

He stopped being taken seriously by centre right around 2011, evidenced by the fact that the Conservative Party broke off relations with DM because they, rightly, thought he was a bit out there. As things have gotten more and more nutty in politics, he's gained serious ground.
