Here's the issue as we chatted today : While it sets some ambitious goals, this DD may be split into several phases (epic?) and deliver quick wins, like basic tx, CRUD metrics per unit of time as a 1st step. cc

RDBMs implement a concept called ACID. Caches, generally speaking: - Do not support A - Are not C by definition - Don't provide I - Rarely provide D, and if only for faster restarts. Plus databases are often fast, scalable and reliable.

Sí. O si escalan automáticamente (k8s, AWS ASG, etc). O si pasado mañana alguien añade otras apps con su propio pool o sin pool. La bbdd debe estar "protegida".

Hoy tienes un servidir de aplicaciones. Mañana autoescalas automáticamente esa capa stateless y se multiplican las conexiones. No puedes controlar el fan-in de las conexiones a Postgres.
