👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Consumer demand to go to Florida just jumped. “We're not going back, closing things. I don't think that that really is what's driving it, people going to a business is not what's driving it.”

Perspective. The number of tests has increased by 160% from June 17-June 30 (i.e. in the last two weeks). Is it any wonder than daily number of positives are increasing? This can happen even as the infection rate drops (if you test enough people). BTW death rate dropping.

Except Jacksonville where Mayor Curry decided yesterday to issue an edict for masks. He skipped the press conference because he was scared of being asked about his inconsistency on the issue. I think either the RNC asked him to do this (August convention) or some businesses did.

I’ll be keeping an eye on DeSantis for 2024. He seems like one of the few brave and sensible politicians out there right now.

If only I didn't have to balance the 14-day quarantine on the back end of our planned trip. We'll deal with it though - see you in a few weeks!
