That doesn’t seem like enough life boats.

So, if one was offline all week, and wanted to read 1 or 2 articles to catch up on the state of WWDC rumors, what would one read?

I am less good at endurance driving than I used to be. 8 hours today was hard. Used to be a breeze for me.

Either everyone in Kansas City is ridiculously nice or I have been unusually lucky with who I've interacted with this week.

You can “Add to Siri” actions to donate them to system shortcuts. They don’t run with a draft in context, but that would work fine for this action.

Got a strike on a tree about a block away last week. Set off my car alarm and took out at least one electronic device in the house of neighbors I know in about a three block radius. Hair stood up on my arm!

You can get away with that in California. We have a lot of lightning in Texas. I have a whole house surge unit, and high quality ones on my major electronics. Oh, and a lighting protection system (which is structural protection, not surge related).

Someone who understands all the various weird behaviors and side-effects of different combinations of NSWindow/Panel style masks and collection behaviors should really write that up. I suspect there are very few people who could do that with confidence.

Just a reminder: It is extremely hard to end a serial adventure narrative in a satisfying way. Try to find joy in the journey.

UIKit people: Anyone know of a trick to make third party keyboards respect changes to UITextInput properties (like autocapitalizationType) w/o resign/becomeFirstResponder calls? The system keyboard will do it with reloadInputViews(), but third party keyboards seem to ignore.

I admit I did not finish the Witness. Great environment, but some frustrating bits along the way. I love The Room series though. Didn’t hit those same frustration points. That said, I’m a huge escape room fan.

You have an iPad? Get an immersive puzzler. The Room series if you haven’t played them. Or Witness.
