I'm a fan of cheese! Great to have such a good paper with evidence to support my own judgement.

I know this is about USA hospitals, but I don't believe things are different in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. The simplest and most effective way of managing diabetes is to ditch sugar and starchy foods. Job done.

Amazing. And, I believe President Johnson used to flash in the White House, and called his member 'Jumbo'. Many journalists witnessed and were embarrassed by his weird behaviour, and his policies caused more poverty! Dismal!

Look closely This is what negligence, lies, pseudoscience and, dare I say, manslaughter, looks like over the last 4 decades “First do no harm” That would have been a good place to start

I'd add, and a slew of other toxic proteins too. But I believe that the only reason humans took to eating cereal grains, was the opioid compounds they deliver. Clever old grass eh? Fooled most of us!

Such good news! Ketogenic diet is more effective for epilepsy than the anti-epilepsy drugs! What's not to like? So happy for this family's liberation from torment.

Simon Fairlie with some interesting views on what is driving deforestation in the Amazon. Sugar cane and soy. Beef is the scapegoat. As usual. Easier to blame meat than global biofuel- or agri-business.

Vegans: "Meat and animal fats cause metabolic syndrome!!" Me: "Alright, let's test that theory. I'll just eat meat and fat." *All signs of metabolic issue disappear completely* Vegans: "It's because you eliminated everything! You're invisibly unhealthy! Where's your RCT?" 🤷‍♀️

Actually all humans start their lives on a plant free diet- I do like the term “plant shaming” though- maybe it will qualify as hate speech soon- but it’s ok to call meat eaters evil, Nazis etc...

Your weight is not the result of the number of calories you ate, but of a complex array of hormonal pathways and sophisticated biochemical interactions that regulate your body’s metabolic set point

I assume you mean that by stepping down the wind would be taken out of the Left's sails. You might be correct, but I doubt it. They manufacture their own wind (and it smells terrible!)

I often tell patients that real apples, original apples, are crab apples and are delicious, but, you can't eat many as they are too astringent and sour. These were wild, real, fruits for our ancestors, and were not harmful, compared to todays 'confectionary fruits'.

And the rise of diabetes in India took place just a few years after it started to take off in the USA. It is a global story, sadly.
