And Coda alike. The WFD position is ‘Sign Language Rights for All’. As I asked the WFD President in Geneva, what does that mean in practice? How are Codas protected in this?

Who’s the arbiter on right and wrong? I’m a Coda - as Wayne is. We are not monolithic - neither is the Deaf community - but we have to have standards and decency in how we treat each other regardless of our views, and I’ve seen some really disgraceful material from Deaf, hearing

I think narrowing this on language appropriation simplifies the narrative in an unhelpful way. This is a very British scandal and while I entirely understand how visceral and sensational this story feels - it’s touching us all - I’d ask that we remember at its centre are humans 1

Discussions begin within the Bristol sanctum this week... it’s sure to be a corker. Book the Airbnb’s and the hotel rooms as soon as the dates come out, lest ye be caught out by the demand and the inevitable price fixing that follows 😂😂😂

This is one reason why, at 18, I decided not to embark on a Drama degree, and have got much more pleasure from amateur theatre - thank you for giving me great parts down the years!
