I'm guessing you'll have more success this way Hire someone with high upside + hunger who gets along well with you and has a strong interest/connection to the industry And let them run

basically just a function of employees skills not matching the product that the company produces then also ppl being really insecure with that fact, so there's title inflation

I do really appreciate that we have *any* founders thinking that far in the future though Will obviously try to help wherever, been a great product experience so far. Hope that it is successful enough to continue

$10k ~~ $30/month = 333 months = 27.7 years I'm hesitant to do that for a few years reasons, the most notable being that the amount of companies that get that far is tiny. 90% of all businesses don't make it past one year (or something like that)

Joining this discussion a few days late - but my 2c Basically has become mission critical software for me. Very price inelastic. That said, it's only been a few months and I've gone through hype cycles with software before so would be hesitant to sign up for a long term plan

have you spent much time looking at Frontdoor? imo might be a more accurate parallel to amazon/shopify because it's providing a repeatable service instead of matchmaking (iirc also a subscription model)

The Roam daily notes section is catching all the time-based text items in a much better way than Google Calendar Definitely one of the more interesting emergent features
