Hi Mr Phoenyxx! I'm a reporter from the Daily Dot. We recently saw your Patreon post regarding the site's policies on transformation porn. Would you be open to chat over email? If so, shoot me a message at: anavalens@protonmail.com

"sexy work" that largely focused on the overlap between burlesque and stripping & how the two have landed in such different places today, and I feel like it's a similar idea - that most of the stigma associated is the result of a proximity to sex work rather than the work itself.

For example, in France, landlords cannot rent to escorts, as it's considered as pimping. Basicallty, if an escort gives you money, even if she just pays her rent, you're considered a criminal and can go to jail. I clearly don't face the same thing as a girl who writes porn. 😬

I don't think adult content creators are SW, even tho they're adjacent. I didn't and still don't face the same stigma as an erotica writer than sex workers: if I talk about what I do, I don't think I risk my career or losing what I have. At worst, it'll be awkward.

FTR I avoid calling myself a SWer but I see my work as adjacent to sex work, hence why “adult content creator” feels right for me.

Are adult artists, erotica authors, and smutty comics folks also sex workers?

the whole internet culture of always needing more views and subscribers n stuff is so dangerous we’re not supposed to be in contact with that many people, and it can seriously fuck us up that’s why i try to keep a sort of distance with people and put as many barriers as possible

Boogie2988 mocking Etika's mental illness before the announcement of his death and then uses it to make himself look better is the definition of manipulation and scum. It takes someone to fucking kill themselves to make those people give a damn shit.
