You can sound confident and have anxiety. You can look healthy and feel shit. You can speak well in public and be a wreck. You can be privileged and not mentally privileged. You can lift barbells and be weak. You can be a man and cry. You can have everything and feel nothing.

Hi , I have an exciting mental health awareness photography project I've started and would love to be a part of it. Is there any chance of discussing it with the charity?

Mine is photography. It's been a massive help for me and also became a whole new career. Which is why I've started a portrait project working with others who want to share their stories.

Really enjoyed your Watford talk Alex - your background and approach I can relate to. Couldn't stop to chat afterwards, although would have liked to.

When you are open about experiences of mental illness people mark you down as a miserable person. I'm not a miserable person. I'm an intense person. When I feel happiness or love I feel those things intensely, and I feel pain intensely. It's the price of feeling.

So excited to have kicked off my portrait project. A huge thanks to those that took part in the first of the shoots, I can't wait to share their stories and portraits very soon.

Loved the trilogy and the short stories. First episode looked promising, the film was terrible.
