Really? I loved the climax. So metaphorical and yet has logic.

Watched last night and was absolutely bowled over by 's end to a perfectly satisfying trilogy except for a few minor issues. Do not really understand the mixed reviews. 🙈

Another happy episode of where we discuss and (for the most part.) This was one episode where we were actually at odds with each other but had immense fun dissecting the various perspectives!

Namaku pidicha padathulayum sila varuthangal irukalam. Those are two completely different things. Naa Petta enjoy panen, Rajini kaga, but idhelam en mind la irunthute irunthuchu. I think that's possible and completely fair as well.

Those aren't mutually exclusive things right -- a thalaivar celebration and strong characters. I did like Petta, but I couldn't help wondering what I had written. I'm not sure what bias you are talking about.

When you get actors like Nawazuddin, it becomes important that the character is as strong as he is as an actor. Avlothan. And personally, all of Karthik's films have had multiple important characters. Idhula thappu nu sola edhum illa. It's just an opinion. Avlothan

100% agree with analysis. nails it, yet again. Women characters, depth in the story, intrigue, twists - the things that usually work in Karthik Subbaraj movie are nowhere to be found in Petta. The villain character, especially, was a major letdown. Nawaz was wasted.

Which is why Kaala will still be my favourite Rajini film of recent times. While fans might disagree, what Pa Ranjith and Rajini did was unique and it was new. It was Rajini exploring. ☝☝ I like it ❤ ✍👇👌👏❤
