Interesting that phone call handoff works on HomePod - that doesn’t even work on Mac or iPad yet, does it?

Yes it does. I answer calls on my Mac all the time

You can answer them, but can you transfer an ongoing conversation without interruption?

Weird that HomePod is two words at one point in there. Obviously a typo, but still

Seems to be yes since iOS 11 and High Sierra. The “loud speaker” button now shows your Mac as an option along with Bluetooth earphones etc.

It works on all my devices but I'm on 11.2.5 beta, which coincidently is what version of iOS one needs to be on to setup the HomePod.

Sounds like assistant features like “Remind me to.. “ or “What’s in my calendar today?” are going to be for a single Apple ID / iCloud account ... 😒

Cool, didn't know that. Wonder if that works for FaceTime Audio, too?

Anything you can play through AirPlay can be played in your HomePod. Including Spotify.

Super helpful! Any insight on how it works with restrictions? For instance can one of our kids go up to it and ask to play X explicit song?

I have an Apple Music Family subscription. Is this saying that if my daughter and I have a playlist called Favorites and we ask HomePod to play playlist Favorites, it will get the right playlist based on the user asking? I don’t want my smart playlist stats changed by other users
