Hi Shiv, these look like Jungle Babblers to us. The fighting could likely be over food; they are social breeders, so there is a chance it's over breeding, although it's unlikely that'd involve so many birds. Hope that helps!

Hi Pat, according to the Handbook of Western Palearctic birds, it's an aggressive behaviour, usually from a male defending a territory. If there's so many birds in the garden, this may be why!
