Data is not the new gold, data is the new uranium. Sometimes you can make money from it, but it can be radioactive, it's dangerous to store, has military uses, you generally don't want to concentrate it too much, and it's regulated. Why keep uranium you don't need?

Boursorama just likes to play with fire. Tag managers on the login page. *What could possibly go wrong*? 🤔

Dropbox found that developer ergonomics are so important to velocity that it's cheaper to pay two teams to write the same code in two languages than to force both teams to share a single language.

Our team is hard at work adding accessibility support to Chromium DevTools. Take a look at the keyboard-accessible Perf timelines now available in Chromium Beta/Canary/Dev *and* Edge Canary/Dev! 😍 Give it a try, and stay tuned for more features!

I prefer print books and my ebook reader mostly sits idle since I bought it. It's quite useful though: 1) if you live abroad and want books in your native (non-English) language 2) for improving foreign language skills (on Kindle you highlight a word and get it insta-translated)

Just read "best smartphones" review where a 6.1' phone won the "small phone" category... we're back to mid-1990s it seems with the definition of "small phone".

One thing worth improving is a UX/perf issue related to breakpoints after refreshing the page: the code is first displayed, and only then, with a large delay (few seconds on big files), breakpoints are marked with blue badges (initially I thought that breakpoints were broken)

Been using in Nightly for JS debugging for several weeks (first time since Firebug times), on a large codebase, and the overall experience and stability has been quite good👍

> It wasn’t even that slow. Something like a quarter-second lag when you opened a dropdown or clicked a button. But it made things so unpleasant that nobody wanted to touch it. Paper was slow and annoying and easy to screw up, but at least it wasn’t that.

When Fiddler is on and set to decrypt HTTPS > "...from browsers only" > "only for the following hosts: ", Outlook fails to connect (I assume cert pinning). Is there a way around it, or this is a technical limitation?

=$+[] After many years of heavy research we finally found a solution to write JavaScript with only 5 different symbols: $+=[] ⟶ Hint: This solution targets some internals of jQuery UI — which is still being used by more than 10% of all websites.
