Here in New York, we're down 99% from peak daily deaths, yet still have to check in with the government if we want to leave the state. We're definitely in the "tyranny" phase.

Once again for the ppl in the back: ID IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN REQUIRED TO FLY DOMESTICALLY. TSA has successfully argued in court on more than 1 occasion that its ID-checking routine is legal bc it is ~optional~. Alternative identity verification is available to all w/o ID.

Which is it: they are mandatory, or they are used only if available?

I'm voluntarily dismissing my travel quarantine lawsuit against because it's become clear he has no intent (or ability) to actually enforce it...

TSA screeners are "an incredible group of professionals" is something I've never heard before. That's a cute line, Dave.

Also still a SkyMiles Medallion customer... but definitely irritated about how service has decreased and blamed on the virus. Can't serve me a beer on a plane anymore because of cornoavirus? So absurd.

Anyone with an MPH, or an MD in infectious disease, or Ph.D in related biomedical would be just fine.

I really don't understand the point you're trying to make. We're giving you firsthand experiences demonstrating a problem and you're just... arguing. Inequality in tech has many causes, and too few women in STEM is a big one, regardless of why.

I went to a top school for CS. The 1000-level courses had about 5:1 M:F. The 4000-level courses were more like 30:1. I don't pretend to know how to fix gender inequality in tech, but I do know that it needs to start before the undergrad admissions process.

State Health Depts: I'm an attorney suing Cuomo for N.Y.'s absurd quarantine on your citizens (and tourists). A fed judge ruled today I need pub health experts to demonstrate inefficacy. Care to weigh in?
