The Apple v Epic in app payment trial date is set for May 3rd, 2021. Apple and Epic both agreed to a bench trial rather than jury trial. Focus will be on Apple as a monopoly over app distribution, forcing 30% cut.

Judges probably see this kind of bullshit all the time; lots of posturing from big huge companies pretending to be doing this for tha homies back home yo. Not sure if companies can counter sue for libel reparations in the US, but that's likely where it's headed.

This is gonna be so damn spicy! Heres hoping it helps break down the walled garden that is iOS. And gives a stark warning to all platforms that this is not the way. Openness leads to growth. Nothing wrong with privacy or protecting consumers when both can exist.
