Mitch McConnell just will not put criminal justice bill on the floor despite strong bipartisan backing. Queasy about the politics and GOP divisions. Sen Durbin was worried MM wanted an out and floor time seems to be it. This time he is bucking Trump/Jared.

NEW: HYDE-SMITH entered runoff IN THE RED. Took out $350K bank loan 11/2, surpassing $204K reported on hand day after the election. That's less than Espy had on hand last week ($248K) after $125K in self-funding:

Folks on the floor here in Broward seem to agree that the vast majority of ballots here are “no votes” in the Senate race. Bad news for Nelson, who needs to pick up thousands here. Not on track to do that.
