The case that was filed by Dr Tatu Kamau seeking to decriminalize in is coming up for mention at the High Court in Nairobi today. We expect the Court to confirm the readiness of the parties to proceed with the hearing in October 2019 and shall keep you updated.

I interacted with a Samburu elder as we lined for Huduma Namba and i asked him about FGM in his area. He told me women who have not undergone fgm have no voice at all. He also told me politicians may not talk about cultural activities in the area. Team we have work to do.
