While I wholeheartedly admit that Die Another Day is garbage on fire, the other 3 Brosnan films were excellent - esp. in capturing baroquely campy nature of classic Bond villainy with a nice post-Cold War edge. Tomorrow Never Dies had some nice prescience to it, tho.

Given the presence of a team in-country, and the variables involved, I feel like it’s more plausible that any electricity disruption was likely achieved physically rather than digitally. If electricity disruption happened at all.

The Iranian regime is not suicidal but it is ambitious. And if it goes nuclear, it could feel emboldened to engage in asymmetric power projection to achieve its regional ambitions, because it would feel secured from conventional military retaliation via a nuclear deterrent.
