AP Statistics students taking part in a prism adaptation experiment. The classical experiment tests both motor learning and the cerebellum - specifically how the brain adapts to special prismatic googles which shift their field of vision by 25 degrees to the left.

Student leaders visit Dhana village yesterday to give an educational talk on women’s hygiene and to distribute environmentally friendly sanitary pads. It's part of our Not Just a Piece of Cloth passage, which was inspired by a visit to the wonderful NGO@goonj.

Our girls' senior and inter basketball teams have started a new initiative with local girls school Sanatan Dharam. The Three Point Play Project aims to build strong relationships with the local girls; teach them basketball & life skills, and help renovate their basketball court.

Grade 7 scientists making digital microscopes from scrap board, plexi-glass, bolts, the lens from a 30 rupee laser pointer and their phones. They tested them with interesting samples found around campus, including a dead bug, lichen, moss, rocks, paper and stinging nettle leaves.

Our Middle Years students visiting Samvedna, a local centre for children with learning and physical disabilities. Their interactions with the children are designed to help them improve their English and strengthen their motor and communications skills in a fun and engaging way.

Our Grade 4 and 5 students tackled the subject of ethics in yesterday's Early Years assembly, performing three plays they'd devised themselves in drama, using puppets created by the students in art class.

While many students headed home last week, those who remained didn't miss out on a spring break of their own. Around 40 students and four dorm parents went on a cultural trip to Rishikesh, making the most of the glorious spring weather and exploring many of the city's holy sites.

Our Early Years students were treated to a world premiere of The Bamboo Princess, a new puppetry show by Katkatha Puppet Arts Trust from Delhi and Setagaya Silk from Japan. Combining puppetry art and live actors, the performance was a fresh take on Japan's oldest prose narrative.

G12 Physicists got to work today, experimenting to check the focal length of a new lens for our laser cutter - which were thought to be incorrect. Comparing old and new lenses, they proved our suspicions - a great help for our design team and a practical application of science.

Our students and Community Engagement team are working with local school Sanathan Dharam to improve their learning spaces. Together with the Sanathan Dharam girls, our students have worked hard cleaning and sanding the walls of two classrooms which are now ready for painting.
