Now onto the main business of the evening. The reports to be discussed are the financial ones already presented and approved at Executive an hour ago. But the job of Council is to consider and debate the Executive’s agreed proposals from earlier tonight.

Chris Wallace now asks a question about the housing revenue account reserves is less than the minimum? Cllr John Kaiser this is due to us repaying the significant HRA debt from us buying council houses.

Cllr Gregor Murray says the money, ,subject to be agreed tonight, will be spread across various projects including solar farms, installation of energy saving projects such as LED lighting in our properties, enhanced transport infrastructure, improved recycling...to name a few

Approved. Members are now discussing whether to appropriate our land off Wheatsheaf Close, Sindlesham, for the Wheatsheaf Close Self-Build Project; for people & groups to self or custom build their own homes.

Next up is the Supplementary Estimate for Works to Address Traffic Congestion – putting the funding in place to move our plans forward for a research survey on congestion, to produce an Intelligent Transport Systems Strategy & review our traffic sensitive streets.
