That. has been suggested a number of times πŸ˜… If you want to see a fiat balance, one would get an IOU setup and hold assets in that fiat currency. 1 XRP = 1 XRP. I do understand the request, and will consider & possibly reconsider one day.

XUMM will automatically convert your read only account based on the imported r-address to a signable, read/write account, if you import a read/write account from mnemonic (and enter your words).

It's the wallet address used to sign the sign in at the translation portal.

I don't know what they are or aren't doing but they should manually correct that for you.

Haha yeah, that happens because I imported from Github, so I / it doesn't know what r-address it belongs to. When signed in at on the lower right corner is a support chat icon. If you send your github username + signed in r-address to me I'll link them.

If you are at the point where you feel you have nothing to secure or protect anymore, please import your mnemonic into XUMM, let's hope it's just your Ledger device/firmware :)

Ik betwijfel het. Maar houd vooral de content van in de gaten, ze zullen er vast meer over bekend maken als het zover is.

Must be that, indeed. I understand this can be very confusing, sorry for that. Thank you for staying vigilant and reaching out!

Als we het gaan hebben over techniek: prima. Maar als het resulteert in verdedigen tegen banking-coin verhalen dan bedank ik ;)

The good news: nobody can send you push notifications unless you interacted + signed with the tool before. Did you perhaps open , even if briefly, before it happened? My tool doesn't check for sign result, it'll send you a notification again when visiting.

I don't know, but I just tested it and it's giving decent output, as long as you NEVER enter your secret anywhere you're fine. There's then only privacy to consider when entering your r-address.

(2/2) 2. You visited recently, and the session was still alive and sent you a request again.

I'm not aware of scam attacks, but there are two things that may explain this: 1. The sign request was always there (sent twice, eg. in case of back/forward/refresh during the process) and you only notice just now (or was it a push notification?) 2. (1/2)

Depending on your level of anxiety, you may want to test that so you can relax about the Ledger hardware device not working anymore.

If you want to check without using the hardware device: XUMM supports importing mnemonic words as well. Please consider this carefully, as you'll move from air gapped hardware to basically a hot wallet in XUMM (but we spent a lot of effort on XUMM security).
