At Whytecliff, youth have the opportunity to play ice hockey every week! All different skill levels and experiences are welcomed, and peers encourage one another while having a blast! This allows for team building, exercise and creates a chance for many to try something new 🏒⛸

This afternoon, members of the Whytecliff program created their own personal Essential Oil Rollers. The group visited a local store where they selected the ingredients. This provided a learning opportunity and offered a therapeutic experience. 🌿💆

This morning, members participated in a Sugar Education Exercise. Groups brainstormed to guess the amount of sugar in various food/drinks. This experience allowed for an interactive learning opportunity that highlighted the need to understand nutrition! 🍩🍭🥤

Today, the youth started to get in the halloween spirit by carving pumpkins, and roasting pumpkin seeds. Members teamed up to work on carving together, and also started decorating around the building. This experience allowed for teamwork, laughter and a ton of fun! 👻🎃

Today, members of the Langley and Burnaby program visited the trades expo in Cloverdale! Through exploration and discovery, the youth were able to practice their trade skills and learn about career options. This opportunity allowed for career exploration, and goal formation!

Today youth from the program visited Willow View Apple Farm where they got to pick fresh apples, play with baby goats and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The youth enjoyed eating fresh fruit off the tree, as well as working together to pick the best apples to bring home for baking!
