Complete with a rather Pearl Jam sounding live band and a heap of umbrellas (which are Seattle but not Seattle...). Seattle keeping things Seattle.

Suit guy is back. Different suit, same shirt and tie. It’s still a size and a half too big. Walking the same pattern+same behavior as last night. I have so many questions. Should I go down and offer him a snack? Maybe directions? He looks lost.

Just saw a man in a full suit (albeit a size and a half too large for him), walking around Capitol Hill.... You only needed to watch 10 seconds of a Nirvana clip to get the local motif, sir.

America 2020: We’re having primary elections with curfews that fall before the polls close. One guess who’s going to have that curfew disproportionately enforced on them and not get to vote. (Hint: The answer is “Black and brown people.”)

There are primary elections today in: Indiana Iowa Maryland Montana New Mexico Pennsylvania Rhode Island South Dakota Washington, D.C. Voter suppression is real. If you're voting, know your rights:

Primary election day in DC, amid the helicopters and national guard patrols. Elections have consequences.

After five hours of peaceful protest at the East Precinct on Capitol Hill, SPD escalates rapidly and with little warning to tear gas and flash bangs, possibly after a few water bottles are thrown at them.

From Trump’s speech to the protest getting broken up to the tear gas that we can’t get out of our house, here is my angriest middle finger for today.

The Apple/Google Exposure Notification API makes it cryptographically impossible to outright list who a person associated with. This is just the police abusing the words "contact tracing" to sound cool and hurting public health efforts in the process.

Tear gas. To Pose. Let that sink in.

Disappointed, but not surprised? Most of the Seattle local news coverage of yesterday is, “The looting! Bellevue Mall!” Not that a black woman lead a peaceful march for *hours* and de-escalated tense moments with the police every single time.

Deploying rogue CBP agents, who have a history of abuse and misuse of power, is a mistake that threatens the lives of even more Black and Brown people.
