When I was a Motorcycle Courier in London I used to collect the cards out of the phone box's around Soho and take them to our riders room at work and decorated two big walls with them. I could of made a mountain out of all the bluetac πŸ”οΈ 🀣

There was a Spanish band -which had a pretty big hit in the 90's- that was called Australian Blonde because they saw that as the heading on a tart card during a trip to London.

I have a small selection of colourful tart postcards that I collected from car windscreens when I visited London. I also have a couple from Saint Petersburg. Now I find they are possibly historic artifacts!

I used to get a lot of calls on my mobile phone in the late 90s from London phone boxes, by blokes disappointed I'm a hairy Scots guy and not a mature lady offering French lessons. Either the wrong number was called or one of those cards had a typo.
