Badass Force from is now on Kickstarter! They filmed their playthrough video in our studio so I got to try it and it was a great Bluff, Deduction and Badass card game. definitely worth a look!

No he massively overstretched. Left them all just outside of my deployment zone, within range of the an impetuous move.

Also, muppet that I am; I realised I never posted the results: 3/1/1 for 19th place (/60). I was hoping for higher but that draw really dragged me down in the end. Still chuffed with the results from the Highlanders and very happy I chose to take a fun army!

And why would I take an almost untested army to a Satellite event? Because I was planning to take S.S.S. but was just not feeling inspired when list submission came round!

I've had a few peope ask me about my list from this weekend so here it is. I had another but never played it as this one covered all the bases. This was my first serious CHA list which I got one test match with teh army before the event so advice is welcome!

In the game in question he pushed in with Uxia, a Spetznaz and Antipodes. He killed a few things but then 2 Highlanders took care of all his models on my side of the board.

Yeah it trades really well, like most Ariadna armies. But Highlanders are just brutal for the job. Beserk means you will most probably kill whatever you touch, in exchange for a 6pt model...

Also, a strong attack but the list can (and did many times this weekend) turn aside a lot of alpha strikes.

Dor normal scenarios you can always tailor something for the scenario. However, HC is a bit of a weakness but they're solid the rest of the time. And Yes McMurder is great but I think he needs a lot of impetuous smoke throwing friends with him to help him get up the board.

R5 vs OSS on HC. Very good opponent who knew exactly what he was doing. We go back and forth with me getting objectives early then him taking the back before we grind things out to a 4-4 draw.

I spend the game waking up the board, taking care of objectives. A last turn Chasseur assault limits my options but I still get a win with 6-4.
