Sprinkler restrictions are residential only at the moment. We’re looking at initiatives to reduce our water consumption incl timing the operation of sprinklers for early mornings & evenings to ensure the most efficient use of water. More info . ^Heather.

There's a complete ban on all residential sprinklers, unattended watering devices&irrigation systems until further notice. You can still water by hand, but we recommend doing this in the morning or evening. For tips on how to conserve water you can visit .

If your rubbish/recycling is usually collected on a Monday your collections will change to Saturday over Xmas/NY. More info here -

Hi Jared, Tory St is bound for change in the future due to & new buildings in the area so we are trialing this concept over summer to see how it goes. It means the space will be well used prior to making substantial changes/investment to Tory St.

..Currently we are not looking to upgrade this crossing to traffic lights, however we are investigating improved pedestrian access on Rangiora Ave at the moment.

This zebra crossing was upgraded (just over 2 years ago) with larger signs and improved roadmarkings including anti-skid pavement surfacing. We also installed hand rails which helped define the staggered crossing..
