This!! And it doesn’t have to be healthcare related. Physicians can and should have other interests. I was a leader in a sustainability organization and a positivity group in college.

ABCs lead to safest sleep but we also need to have harm reduction convos w sleep deprived parents since the majority will sleep with baby (on purpose or not) It’s safer to sleep with baby intentionally in a bed when safety steps are taken than accidentally while on a chair/couch

Long term issue of wildfires = air quality In Sidney right now the air quality is so poor it’s like smoking 17 cigarettes a day 🚬

Training considerations 💠residents aren’t required to rotate on burn surgery 💠but general surgeons will get burn pt referrals (bc we figure sh** out) 💠burn centers has the unintended consequence of reducing regional knowledge 💠burn surgeons need to comm w/non-burn surgeons

But what about pets? 💠Many people get burnt returning for their pets 💠Few shelters accept animals (because of infectious concerns) 💠Most animals that survive have injured feet or faces (and tummies of fat cats 🐈)
