Pregnancy specific podcasts would be fantastic - longer and discussing latest maternity-related reviews great for commuting!

Twitter! The amount of times during this degree I tweeted something like "looking at xx for upcoming essay, anyone know anything about it?" Or "does anyone know any papers about xx?" The responses always blew me away & I saw how supportive and willing to share the community is

5. I learnt so much. I was welcomed and care for ❤️. I would love the team to write up their work - including the stories from mothers and partners, so that we can share and encourage others. ! THANK YOU! 6/6

4. The Director of Nursing was there, supporting and encouraging. She recently became a grandmother herself, and wished her daughter-in-law had been given an option to give birth at home. This is exemplary leadership - encouraging innovation and national policy 5/6

3. The commitment to make the service model successful was extraordinary - the midwives made this happen using personal resources. They were astounded by the number of families who came, and so was I. Look at these happy faces 🤗 4/6

2. THE MIDWIVES were also joyous! They LOVED their work, tons of job satisfaction & they LOVED the women 🤰🏽 they got to know so well. The connection was palpable 🙋🏻‍♀️ No burnout, even though on call 24/7 most of the time 3/6

I’m going to share my reasons why today has lifted my spirits & given me hope! 1. All the women shared POSITIVE birth stories, including those who needed transfer in labour. They were happy, JOYOUS, full of zest. No birth trauma 🤱🏽2/6
