Till date, the biggest lift schemes in the world were The Colorado lift scheme in America and the Great Manmade River in Egypt. They took over 3 decades for completion. Kudos to MEIL and Govt. of Telangana for completing Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme in four years.
