But these others boys naturally have testosterone right? So these small amounts he’s taking would relatively even it out. Why not let him wrestle other guys?!

Who's to say? Juice enough and you could build mass and muscle at an exponential rate over a very short time frame! I've worked with women who have done cycles of testosterone and they had much more muscle mass than I did. You can't control the affects just the amount of the drug

And the amount is typically administered by a professional and was said to have been a small amount. So I still don’t see the issue

I think that was the excuse the Russians used with the IOC

This is literally a teenage boy in high school sports. I’m almost positive he has to be legitimately regulated. This isn’t the olympics. If he’s gonna be booed for beating a girl but the state won’t let him wrestle guys then what is he supposed to do?

Choose to do the right thing and either forgo her transformation, or do the honorable thing and let those girls compete with out him. It's all choices, it's up to you what you do with them. Personally, I think of others when it comes to these things and how will they feel!

Yes but putting aside either your passion and what could very well be something that he holds dearly, or a process that he feels he needs to be himself is an unfair choice in general don’t you think? When does he, in general, get to win at all?

Have you ever had a fair choice in your life? If you have, it was never a choice it was just what you did!

Birth sex and gender are separate, independent concepts. If u disagree with that, take that up with the American Psychological Association

all yall not reading the bloody article before you comment. Mack Beggs takes low doses of testosterone to transition to being male, and he WANTS to join the competition for boys. However, he is forced by Texas state laws to compete with the girls. THAT'S the problem.

This situation is unfair not because he is taking testosterone to transtition, but because the state won't let him compete against boys. He has openly stated he WANTS to join the boys competition. Get it? So stop with the "doping is illegal" comments.

It's a fact that it was considered a mental illness until 2012. I have no problem with it but a kid isn't developed enough to make a choice that will affect the rest of their life like that.

It is like folks refuse to read up on this subject before talking. Childhood is the BEST time to make this decision, preferably b4 puberty sets in. At least that is what mental health professional say, but u may know more than them

Never claimed I did lol. I think kids who make that decision then end up regretting it do though

And the ones who do have gender dysphoria end up regretting not going through the process earlier. So it is best to leave peoples medical needs to themselves
