I’m sure Caroline and the Guardian wouldn’t want to mislead people so let’s be absolutely clear: HMRC has had to do this in order to comply with EU VAT rules following an ECJ ruling in 2015. See ECJ ruling here:

I was delighted to visit as part of their ‘Fitter Future’ afternoon & join the students in their PE activities & ‘classroom workouts’ - vital for mental & physical wellbeing, as well as boosting learning. Also great to present awards to a number of the students!

If I become PM, we will leave the EU on 31st October, deal or no deal. Today I have asked whether he will also commit to this date, no matter what. We must keep our promises to the British people and deliver Brexit - no ifs, no buts, and no second referendum.

Don't you think we've been trying that? How did the reform agenda go?

I’m afraid I disagree with the Secretary of State on this one - a Customs Union between the UK and the EU is the wrong policy choice for many reasons, but particularly because it stops us doing right by the poorest people in the world, most notably through our trade preferences.

At International Trade Questions, I took the opportunity to confirm that in any future trade agreement, the NHS is not, and never will be, for sale. The Secretary of State was very clear on this issue in response - quite rightly, the NHS simply isn’t for sale!

It was great to attend a reception to celebrate the impact of World Book Day 2019 (07.03.19). Reading has so many benefits & I am very pleased to support this fantastic yearly initiative, which makes a really positive impact.

Most people would think voter ID requirements are perfectly reasonable, ensuring the integrity of elections is upheld. I therefore asked what steps were taken in the recent voter ID pilot schemes to ensure electors were aware of the ID they would need to vote.
