Er right, and global capitalism, especially in China, relies on taking advantage of different labor costs in different markets to produce profits

I've never seen it but I'm sure it's good, it's not hard to remake something well with lots of money, maybe it's even better. But it's still hilarious and embarrassing that they had to remake it

What's happening with brexit is that the uk is just doing a really long bit, but americans don't get the subtlety of british humor

No, it's global capitalism that is illogical. Look around your house. Do you have any products made by Chinese workers

(And fwiw I spent weeks taking buses around rural Brazil interviewing Cuban doctors and their patients, and the marginalized Brazilians kept telling me "wow...these doctors really help me, they care about me, I never expected a service like this")

No, their employer is a state-owned Cuban firm. I would love to see Brazil's government actually directly employ foreign doctors and pay them the same salary that brats from usp get but we both know that will never happen

Yep. Cuban doctors choose their (unfair) contracts with full knowledge of what they mean, whereas thousands of Brazilians are literally tricked into working in slave-like conditions in the Amazon every year, and Bolsonaro doesn't give a shit about them

The injustice of their situation is literally everywhere, it's the reason you indirectly pay Chinese workers a tiny fraction of what you pay workers in Germany, if you don't like it you'll have to find a new global mode of production

[Obama voice] Let me be clear [/Obama voice] - the situation that Cuban doctors find themselves in is unfair. Deeply unfair. There is no good reason that skilled doctors from Cuba should earn 3000 reais while shithead Brazilian doctors earn 10000 for doing the same job worse. BUT

Their situation is extremely unfair. But the injustice of their condition is essentially the essence of global capitalism, the same reason you pay chinese workers less for their labor than you pay italians, it's the same exploitation that is everywhere

When it comes down to it Bolsonaro is actually complaining about large profit margins and the enforcement of labor contracts which, considering he is a wannabe Pinochet, is the funniest thing that has ever happened

It's literally the most ironic thing that has ever happened, tropical fascists finally understanding global capitalism but only because they want to own Fidel Castro, unfortunately though the whole phenomenon is too complicated to explain in a youtube video so it doesn't exist
