Indeed. While I got sicker by trying to live as if I was not ill, pursing a dx was costly and getting many other diseases excluded aggravated my ME. This must end. Being a parent like you, I do not want anyone to go through what we've been through.

In my country of origin ME is still not even on the radar. No sign of adoption. They still insist on calling it CFS/ME and most of the time both pts and drs refer to our illness as CF only. It's a MEssy farce.

Yes, you are right about both time & place of/for dx. After 3+ decades of being ill post mono, I was dxd by 3 different ME specialists here in the US and my PCP added ME to the CFS.
