Thanks! Glad you approve. It was a natural progression. I thought Hamill brought an immense sadness to the character, but the movie didn't jeopardise the OTT violence and cute ironies that are essential to a movie about a killer doll.

Great review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I didn't miss Dourif as much as I thought I would (thanks to Hamill) and I totally grooved to the blend of comic violence, self aware wit and social commentary. Chucky also creeped me out at crucial moments during his 'transformation'.

A superb, socially relevant update that gave us a truly 21st century monster. Hamill brought a wonderful sense of tragedy to the character.

I thought it was a worthy update. Hamill is great as Chucky's voice, totally creepy.

Despite me not liking JAWS, at all... I actually kind of liked this a decent amount, didn't think I would given that. Seen it twice, was enough for me but since the last time I did, been a very long time.

It wasn't the full-sized one. It was a smaller version if I remember rightly. Maybe twice the size of the original figures in height. Maybe a bit smaller. Those memories are somewhat cloudy.

I did, yes. Currently working on a review. I don't want to give too much away but it was a far sight better than most 21st century horror reboots.

I didn't have many Star Wars toys -- I was a little young -- but when Return of the Jedi was released I remember getting an imperial walker, and I was absolutely fascinated with it.

I also love mammagamma. I journeyed to the edge of the Earth and back again listening to that two minute track after some giant blue Amazonian mushrooms. Quite the experience.
