Our #2 project is widening I-15 to four lanes in both directions from Layton to Riverdale. I-15 will close in both directions near Layton Parkway for two 15-minute periods tonight (7/16) between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. for utility work. Visit for more info.

Andy, a wildlife bridge made sense over I-80 because of the mountain terrain. On Pioneer Crossing, an overpass may not be a feasible solution because of the geology of the area. Also, the Lehi area continues to develop and the population growth will alter the migration patterns.

We're happy to see that animals continue using the Parleys Summit crossing we built in partnership with , which is reducing collisions and making the road safer for drivers and wildlife. This new video shows "traffic" on the bridge during the last few weeks.

The Autonomous Shuttle Pilot is heading to its next location on Monday, July 15 at the 1950 West Business Park in Salt Lake City. It will operate Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Aug. 2. Visit for more info.

Our #4 project in this year’s Top 10 is the I-15 Technology Corridor (). The project is widening I-15 to six lanes in both directions from S.R. 92 to Main Street in Lehi, rebuilding several bridges, and reconstructing the S.R. 92 and 2100 North interchanges.

Eastbound I-80 is currently closed at Lake Point (Mile post 100) due to a wildfire burning near the freeway. Currently there is no estimated reopening. Check for updates.
