You can’t understand JNU, the way I couldn’t understand before I took admission here and came to know that parents of my batchmates were golgappa sellers, daily labourers, sanitary workers etc. You can’t imagine their struggle stories & that’s why you can’t understand

This forced disciplining of the community facilitates a larger agenda of the regime at the centre to dismantle public education in the country and invite private players into the field of higher education. From August 2018, in:

In complete solidarity with my alma mater. The JNU students by fighting against fee hike are fighting not just for themselves, but for the future of millions of under-privileged citizens of this country who aspire for education, equality & dignity.

Came to Delhi in 2004..worked in a call centre before taking admission in JNU. Had I not cracked the JNU entrance test, I might not have got higher education coz it was unaffordable for me. Even 5k/month was too much. JNU made it possible. In solidarity with JNU!

40% of the students will be directly affected by this proposal & maybe forced to drop out, that should concern us more than the students protesting: Alumni, to MIRROR NOW LIVE:

Maulana Azad is a symbol of our freedom struggle. He was also the first education minister of India. But he is also the symbol of Indian Muslims' rejection of partition & its logic propounded by Savarkar & Jinnah - that Hindus & Muslims are two different incompatible nations.

Standing on Jama Masjid's stairs in 1947, made Muslims of India take this pledge: "आओ अहद करो कि ये मुल्क हमारा है. हम इसी के लिए हैं और उसकी तक़दीर के बुनियादी फैसले हमारी आवाज़ के बगैर अधूरे ही रहेंगे." Tributes to Maulana Azad on his birth anniversary!

The buck doesn’t stop at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya alone. There is Tejo Mahalaya(Taj Mahal) Vishnu Stambh(Qutub Minar) And even places like Ajmer Dargah, Salim Chisti's dargah that are claimed to be Hindu temples. Tejo Mahalaya Banayenge next? My column.

Govt of India wants all to respect the recent Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya. I ask the Govt when is it going to respect SC's July 2018 verdict asking the govt to enact a law against MOB LYNCHING? RETWEET if you want the govt to bring a law against lynching, as per SC order.

The last Imam of Babri Masjid died few days before the demolition. His 2 sons were hacked to death by karsevaks on the night of Dec 6, 1992. Their house & sawmill was burnt down. Chilling story:

Urging every Indian to boycott this man who hides behind journalism to spread FAKE NEWS. People like him misuse freedom of expression & the support from RSS/BJP to make TV news a toxic platform. It's time to expose their cheap propaganda. Enough is enough.

"It was a wagon massacre, not tragedy!" (11 Nov 1921 – 20 Nov 1921) 90 Muslim rebels were arrested by the British government and sent to Podanur prison in Coimbatore in a windowless freight wagon. 67 of them suffocated to death in transit.
