Exams can be given synchronously or asynchronously. We’ve stressed the need to extend exam time windows to support students who encounter tech issues or need accommodations due to time zone differences or other scheduled exams. Exam windows of 10-12 hours are most effective.

We’re concerned to hear this and would welcome more info via DM so we can follow up and provide support. The Provost’s Office has communicated directly to instructors about the importance of accommodating students as much as possible while maintaining exam integrity.
