3 men were rescued from a capsized sailing canoe about 70 miles off Yap yesterday. The men were wearing life jackets and in 2 separate dinghies drifting with their vessel when an vessel picked them up and transferred them to Cutter Kiska more:

The ’s HSC 25 & responded to a sailboat in distress June 2. The missing vessel’s emergency beacon transmitted a signal between Rota & Guam. The search yielded a sailboat with a broken sail. The crew rescued the four boaters aboard.
