We're sorry you feel this way Saju. The rate of 1.0893635 is used when purchasing currency back from our customers, as was requested in this instance. As opposed to selling currency, you must divide the amount of currency by the rate to receive the AUD. ^Julija

We must stress that the buy and sell rates do differ dependent on the amount being purchased, and the company you're purchasing from. Our online and in store rates do vary, and we apologise for any confusion regarding this. ^Julija

Hi Saju, as per our previous message we can confirm that the rate you were provided is correct and the transaction was calculated without error. The buy rate reflects the price of accepting currency from our customers and then moving or clearing this currency. ^Julija

We can confirm that the calculation was carried out correctly Saju. When purchasing currency, you will multiply by the rate and when selling the currency you will divide by the rate. ^Julija

We can confirm that you were provided the correct rate. Travelex is always very transparent in the way we display rates, commission charges, fees etc. We would always recommend customers pre-order online for free commission and better rates. ^Julija

Sorry Anthony, this won't be possible I'm afraid as you would have needed to purchase the card in the UK before your trip. ^Wendy
