At least 4 terrorists were eliminated via airstrike on the Salah-Diyala provincial border yesterday. Among the dead was a terrorist identified as "Wali" of Diyala. The local security council announced that 20 commanders in Diyala have been eliminated in 2019.

Update just now, according to a source in Dujail The 14 Ramadan Checkpoint is at the entrance to Dujail town. It was a dispute between a soldier from the Army and another from the Tribal Crowd. Shots were fired but no one was killed, only wounded.

Continued from previous This checkpoint is on the road between Dujail and Abayaji which is north of Tarmiyah. Now new details emerge that unknown gunmen opened fire on a group of civilians with 2 people killed and 6 wounded. 1 of the victims was a woman from Dujail.

It's apparent that this group was returning from a funeral in Najaf. Coupled with the other story involving the Army and Tribal Crowd, it seems they got caught in the crossfire.

Bizarre case from last night 3 oil truck drivers were killed and a 4th was wounded after they came under fire at the service road near Baiji Refinery. At first they claimed this was part of the Dujail incident but it's entirely separate. The men were from Albu Fahd in Ramadi.

Civilian was killed after striking an IED in the Abu Saida area of Diyala this morning. Iraq Army launched an operation to clear the areas between Balad Ruz and Mandali, against the backdrop of the 4 soldiers from 5/20 who were recently killed in Al-Nada area.

Even with the Army deployment the fighting renewed. The clans are actually using mortars against one another and this results in soldiers getting caught in the crossfire.

Continued from previous as new details emerge. A suicide bomber entered the Oil Police caravan on the Al-Sahl Road near Baiji and killed 3 officers. He never detonated but was taken down by the other police officers.

Coalition executed an airstrike west of Khanaqin near Alwand region. Security Media did not state how many ISIS eliminated, but a force from Brigade 23 of PMF and the Army went to the impact site and confirmed 8 terrorists killed. Photos to confirm some of the kills.

So it's actually been addressed which clans are fighting in Abu Saida. It's been the local Shammar and Rabea clans. Reports that Shammar fighters took full control of Abu Saida district.

Continued from previous The Army went into Abu Saida today and seized several heavy weapons including a 12.7mm machine gun and 60mm mortar. The EOD teams are clearing out explosives in order for IDPs to start returning home.
