Why did Wu seem more corrupted by the scroll than Garmadon was?

It corrupts. It has greater effect on ‘pure’ persons.

Does that mean those events are after the Devourer bite, if Garmadon isn't pure?

I am not confirming anything in that regard on Twitter. Make your own conclusions. If they work for you, they’re great.

You know, I think if this scroll existed in The Librarians, tv show Ezekiel Jones wouldn't be affected by the scroll at all, because he is at his baddest moment, since he is a thief.

So if that’s the case, when Zane has the scroll, he seem to not turn evil. He ended up saving Wu and sacrificing himself to the Never Realm. How come it didn’t had an effect on him. (My opinion, he probably has such a pure heart, not even a scroll can change him.)

The effect wasn't instant, but he hesitated to put the scroll down for a bit.

That’s maybe why they’ve easier to corrupt Zane than the others. He is the “pure one” in the group, though, I hate putting people in boxes
