Apple has added a LiDAR sensor to the new iPad Pro for AR! "LiDAR is so advanced, it’s being used by NASA for the next Mars landing mission. It uses direct time of flight to measure reflected light from up to five meters away, at nanosecond speeds."

One thing to try though, if you think your connection is slower, is to connect with a network cable from your Internet router to computer - if possible. Generally that really speeds up things 😉.
