You can only appeal to the high court on a point of law, and even then it’s exceptionally difficult to get leave to appeal.

It’s too early to tell. Essendon, Port, and Adelaide. could make coaching changes in next 12 months. So maybe he should go to Harvard, develop Gen Y communication skills, and spend his first summer in Europe in 20 years. Essentially a gap year funded by the Dockers

A change in North Melbourne’s CEO position appears just a matter of time. I expect coaches association boss Mark Brayshaw to replace Carl Dilena as the Kangaroos boss relatively soon.

Case closed, despite Giants letter to the AFL explaining Haynes suffered a broken larynx, the league won’t review Bontempelli’s $2000 fine. Incomplete medical info monday seems an anomaly in the classification system

(1/2) Lyon has an unusual non compete clause in his contract, preventing him from coaching against Fremantle for the duration of his deal - without their consent. The dockers will presumably have waived their rights to enforce that, by sacking him.

Fremantle off field has been a mess for months. Bell’s been after Rossich’s job for some time. Bell keen on Longmuir as coach. Fremantle’s obviously concluded payout worth it. This last month on TF

Ross Lyon is a big fish in the coaching market. St Kilda will have to speak to him. Even Essendon if they are dissatisfied with Worsfold. What an intriguing situation

The payout was the only thing protecting Lyon. He’s gone. Very early but Longmuir will be odds on for Freo position. Bell big fan

Pies injury disclosure is strange. They obviously think it’s an advantage being vague. Which is fair. But their response to this report was De Goey being in rehab group for 11 days with a minor issue. It sounds like he is touch and go for week 1 finals
