So I hate to bother you with a question you probably don't know the answer to , but will we be able to pre-load borderlands 3 and will it release at midnight the night of release. Was going to take off work the next day if that's the case.

I’m sorry, we won’t have support for preloading in the Borderlands release timeframe.

So then why is pre-loading for 3rd party titles listed as a shipped feature? Is BL3 not a 3rd party title? Has pre-loading not actually been shipped? I'm getting mixed messages here.

It’s Complicated. We’ve released support for file preloading which is sufficient for some games, but we aren’t certain it’s up to the demands of a blockbuster like Borderlands.

Would probably still have download a ton of data because of the infamous "day 1 patch" that is standard across all games these days unfortunately.

Weird, assured us that your amazing store would be up to par with Steam regarding feature parity by BL3 release, hmmm...

Randy never assured anyone, he said he would bet it would be , because if it wasn't it won't be a good look for epic. Not defending any of it , but he never did guarantee it would be equal.

Do Epic Games have any support other than buying exclusivity time for games? Lmao. Now I see why Steam doesn't even bother to answer to Epic.

Valve isn't stupid. Epic is destroying themselves. Frankly I'm glad to support them over Epic cause at least they give 2 shits about their customers.

How is that "no problem" for u if someone is forcing u to use platform, which doesn't have 99% of today's standard online features?
