Austin Davis has made 15 of his last 16 shots & Jon Teske is struggling, but don’t change the lineup. Michigan has won 4 of 5 and Davis is thriving vs tired starters & bench players. M needs the confident, non-conference version of Teske in March. Keep going to him.

You are correct. Especially in this era of positionless basketball. Great depth decreases worries about fouls & injuries. Biggest key is competitive practices. Minutes are at stake.

Michigan vs NW thoughts. Teske breaks-out with a double/double. Livers is fresh & has a high production-low minutes game. NW is playing better, hangs for 30 & fades late. Bring on IU.

Zavier Simpson made 4 of 7 threes vs MSU. You can see from his release the improvement from last year. His elbow to hand angle is now perpendicular. No more knuckleball rotations. 36% from 3. Hard work pays off.

Austin Davis has made 11 of his last 12 shots. Last 4 he’s averaging 7 pts & 3 rebs in limited minutes. He has one year of eligibility remaining. With Teske graduating & Hunter Dickinson as a freshmen M would benefit greatly if they can find a roster spot for him next season

Michigan won as the tougher, more physical team today. +6 on the glass, best hedge P&R coverage of the year & they dominated 50/50 balls. With a healthy Isaiah Livers Michigan can beat any team in CBB.

Massive win for Michigan vs ranked, high NET team. Will look good on Selection Sunday. The good news is 6-6 FT’s to clinch & compact D held Rutgers to 33%, and +13 at the line. Brandon Johns is an emerging two-way player. Need to improve the rebound #’s & careless TO’s.
